Cry It Out - SM

I served as the Stage Manager for Baylor Theatre's production of Cry It Out in the summer of 2023. For Baylor's Summer Show Series, the first year MFA Directing graduate students direct a show with a cast of 3-4 people, design the show themselves, and are assigned a stage manager. Together, the cast, director, my ASM, and I built and painted the set in the afternoon, had a dinner break, and rehearsed at night. Because of this, Cry It Out became one of the most community-centric show I have ever worked on. Stage managing a show with such a small cast allowed me to learn how to be very attentive to each individual's person's needs and how best to communicate with different people.
